Five renewal dates, five price rises, five support queues — and a member record that never quite agrees with itself. Here is that stack priced line by line against published 2026 rates.
A studio of roughly 150 members. Published market rates at 2 August 2026, in AUD excluding GST, with USD prices converted at 1 USD ≈ A$1.43.
| What you need | Typical tool | Per month |
|---|---|---|
| Booking, billing and member management | Mindbody Core / Clubworx top tier | A$139–279 |
| Public website with a custom domain | Squarespace Business | A$38 |
| Email marketing to members | Mailchimp Standard (2,500 contacts) | A$64 |
| Digital liability waivers | Smartwaiver Starter (300/mo) | A$79 |
| Video courses and on-demand content | Kajabi entry tier | A$127 |
| Pro shop / merchandise | Shopify Basic | A$56 |
| Rostering and timesheets | Deputy Core × 5 staff | A$44 |
| Separate stack total | A$547–687 | |
| WeeksPro Professional — all of the above | A$199 | |
| You stop paying | A$348–488/mo | |
Example scenario, not a customer result. Kajabi is priced at its entry tier and sources disagree on 2026 Kajabi pricing, so the low end is used deliberately — the real gap is likely wider. A branded member app, which competitors charge US$39–97/month for, is excluded entirely from this comparison because WeeksPro's app is still in development. Prices change; check each vendor before relying on this.

Most vendors compare their processing rate only to whoever is more expensive. Here is the full picture, on A$20,000 a month processed across about 400 transactions. WeeksPro is dearer than integrating Stripe yourself and cheaper than the incumbents. Both halves of that sentence matter.
| Provider | Rate | Monthly |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe direct (AU domestic online) | 1.7% + 30¢ | A$460 |
| WeeksPro | 2.75% + 30¢ all-in | A$670 |
| Mindbody (card present) | 2.99% + 30¢ | A$718 |
| Mindbody (online) | 3.60% + 30¢ | A$840 |
So: about A$210 a month more than raw Stripe, and about A$170 a month less than Mindbody's online rate. Raw Stripe, of course, doesn't come with bookings, waitlists, direct debit or a member portal — you would be building all of that. The flat rate is also the same every month, where tiered processing pricing can be adjusted by the vendor and is hard to forecast.
The subscription total is the easy part to see. It is rarely the expensive part.
Consolidation is not free, and pretending otherwise would be the fastest way to lose your trust in month two.
A dedicated tool will always out-feature a bundled one. Kajabi does more with a course funnel than we do. Mailchimp does more with segmentation than we do. If you run genuinely sophisticated marketing automation, keep the tool that does it and use WeeksPro for everything else — nothing stops you.
A native branded app matters to some studios. Ours is in development, not shipped. Members use the responsive web portal on their phone today. If an App Store presence is a hard requirement for how you sell memberships, that is a legitimate reason to wait for us rather than switch now.
There is no SMS. Member communication is email and in-portal. If your reminder strategy depends on text messages, you would need to keep a separate tool for it, and that erodes part of the saving above.
Migration takes real effort. Even done well it is a week of attention. Studios with 50 or more members switching across get that migration run personally by the founder, free — because the honest answer to "how hard is this" is "hard enough that we should do it for you".
